El pasado domingo 8 de marzo se celebró la Primera Javierada 2015, que este año fue especial al cumplirse su 75º Aniversario. Y tuvimos peregrinos.
Las Javieradas, un acto religioso popular, festivo, penitencial y misionero, son convocadas anualmente por el Arzobispo de Pamplona-Tudela y consisten en varias marchas multitudinarias al Castillo de San Francisco Javier, Patrono de las Misiones y de Navarra, en las que participan peregrinos de todas partes de España.
En el Albergue de Beire solemos acoger grupos de peregrinos que acuden el viernes o sábado a nuestras instalaciones, peregrinan a Javier el domingo y, tras descansar y hacer noche en el albergue, retornan el lunes a la mañana a sus lugares de procedencia.
Este año recibmos a un numeroso grupo de familias compuesto por unas 70 personas, que se hospedaron con nosotros y usaron el Albergue de Beire como base desde la cual organizar su peregrinación a Javier, podeis ver una crónica de cómo vivieron su Javierada en este enlace.
Creemos que disfrutaron mucho de su peregrinación y confiamos en que que repitan estancia y visita el año que viene.
