Nuestros jóvenes alberguistas llegaron puntuales el pasado viernes 24 y ya han pasado unos días en Beire, conociendo a los monitores, el albergue y su finca. Ahí podéis verlos el primer día al poco de llegar, en el patio.
Los chavales se van haciendo con el lugar y sus compañeros: ya saben ir al comedor (¡eso sí que se aprende rápido!), subir a la capilla, pasear hasta la huerta y conocen las salas de abajo. Han jugado en el patio y en la pradera y el campo de futbito es territorio conquistado, hemos echado buenas carreras por ahí.
Ya se han entretenido mirándolo todo desde la galería, y han trabajado en la huerta, han visto los cultivos y los olivares desde el comedor.. Podemos decir que casi se sienten como en casa.
Conocen al equipo del albergue y a sus monitores: Carmen, Mauri, Lorena, Eduardo e Iñaki, no son simples nombres, como el primer día. Ya empiezan a dominar el entorno.
Esto marcha. El grupo va cuajando y el ambiente entre los chavales es francamente bueno.Mirad qué contentos están ahí arriba, en la atalaya, controlando la Navarra Media y la Ribera. Como unos reyes, la verdad..
Las actividades se suceden: ya hemos jugado en la capilla y comenzado a hacer malabares, a trabajar el cuero.. Y todos se manejan con el inglés, yes Sir!…
Hace unos días visitamos el casco medieval de Olite y descubrimos su Castillo…que es precioso. Pasamos ahí toda la mañana.
Paseamos por fuera y por dentro, escuchamos su historia e historias y nos subimos a la torre más alta, que ya son unas cuantas escaleras, no os creais. Y luego descansamos un ratito bajo las murallas.
Y como en Beire comienza a hacer calor, también hicimos una visita a la piscina, que el agua es en verano la mejor diversión. No es mal plan, ¿verdad?
Y esto son solo los primeros días.. la Laguna de Pitillas, más piscinazos, los talleres de oficios medievales, cine y veladas, el Rey de la Faba, un Lip Dub.. Vamos a estar de lo más entretenidos, que aún nos quedan muchas cosas por hacer.
