¡Todo el mundo de vacaciones!.. Pero los enanitos de nuestra Huerta escuela no paran de trabajar.
Los días de este mes son los de la gran cosecha, ya que da fruto todo lo que han ido sembrando y plantando desde los primeros meses de primavera. Seguirán estos días tan productivos hasta que empiecen los fríos y más….
Ayer fué uno de esos días que nos preguntamos qué vamos a hacer con tanta cosa buena que la huerta nos da. Llevábamos dos días sin recoger la verdura y parece mentira la cantidad de cosas ricas que nos regala. Son los mejores días del año, estos de final de agosto y septiembre. Todo son colores, sabores.
Y nuestra cocina lo agradece. Da gusto las comidas y cenas que se pueden preparar con todo ésto.
Tomates, pimientos verdes, berenjenas, zanahorias, remolacha de mesa, alubia verde, guindillas, calabacín. Melones, sandías, peras. Patatas. Y a punto están las pochas, calabazas, girasoles, cacahuetes, maiz, manzanas…. y más.
¡Este otoño los chavales van a disfrutar tocando, recogiendo y conociendo todos estos frutos!
