El 1 de julio de 1989, recibimos al primer grupo en el Albergue de BeirE, nuestros amigos del Ayuntamiento de Rentería: Juan Carlos, Alberto…. Aun me acuerdo la cara de sorpresa al entrar en nuestro patio, el grupo de chavales con Juan Carlos al frente. Hay una fotografía por ahí pero no he conseguido encontrarla.
25 años intensos, de aprendizaje, de conocer muchísima gente, de quebraderos de cabeza, de muchos, muchos grupos que han pasado por aquí.
Y sobre todo de hacer muchos amigos.
Hoy me apetece recordar, empezando por Juan Carlos, a Alberto, los dos de Rentería. A Maite, las Maites, de Lazkao, y todo su equipo. Un recuerdo especial para Eñaut. A Manuela y su grupo de toda España. A todas las maestras y maestros (sobre todo maestras) que se han ido jubilando en estos últimos años, que han hecho estos 25 años con un poquito de nosotros…. Y a tantos otros.. Al grupo de danzas Ainara, a Yolanda…. A Atzegi de Donosti con Gonzalo y sus monitores que nos traían tanta alegría en el verano. A Lidia, Ainhoa, Ane, Aida…. con sus programas de inglés.
A todas las organizaciones de las que hemos formado parte, que nos han apoyado.
Y a todos los que han pasado por el equipo de trabajo de Beire, con los que hemos compartido tantas y tantas horas de agobio, de cansancio…y de buenos momentos.
¡¡¡¡A tantos!!!! que han hecho posible que este proyecto siguiera, tomara forma, fuerza….
Han sido 25 años intensos y muy, muy vividos.
